BritCham’s Appreciation Dinner for HM Ambassador Barbara Woodward: 19 August 2020 (Beijing)

Her Majesty’s Ambassador, Dame Barbara Woodward DCMG OBE, will be completing her 5-year term as British Ambassador to China this coming August.

The British Chamber of Commerce in China, in collaboration with the Department for International Trade (DIT), supported by the British Council, Confederation of British Industry (CBI), China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), Scottish Development International (SDI), Invest Northern Ireland (NI), London & Partners, and the Welsh Government, will be hosting an exclusive appreciation dinner to thank the Ambassador for her time in office and her significant contribution towards trade and relations between the UK and China.

Barbara took up post as HM Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China in February 2015 and has been supporting the British business community in China restlessly. She has been a key advocate for the Chamber’s work, particularly around the Chamber’s annual Position Paper and Sentiment Survey, British Business Awards, and other community events in the past 5 years.
